Sunday, December 24, 2006 - Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Thank you to everyone for all your warm wishes. This year for Christmas we took some pictures of Michael and sent them out in Christmas cards. We couldn't decide which picture to send so we put a different one in each card. Here are all of them for your browsing pleasure!

Julie, Michael and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and Seasons Greetings to everyone!

Saturday, December 2, 2006 - Happy days - and nights!

Michael has slept for 5 hours straight the last two nights! Yay! We can finally get some decent sleep. I hope he keeps this up.

For the last few weeks he had been sleeping for about 3.5 hours, then up for about an hour. Then sleep for about 2 hours, then up for an hour. Then sleep for abut an hour, and then basically up. Sometimes he'd get another hour in, but not always before we decided we were up. Then on Monday night he slept for 4 hours, 3 hours, and 1.5 hours. Tuesday night it went 5, 1.5, 1.5 with 1 hour feedings in between sleeping. Last night he went almost 5.5 hours before starting his waking routine. But I'll take 5 hours of solid sleep over broken hours any time. And he's been taking regular naps during the day, too. So night and day finally seem to be getting straightened out and a routine seems to be falling into place. I'm very happy.
