For Christmas I got a Garmin eTrex Vista C GPS unit, so in January I went out to the forest preserves near my parents house and went Geocaching with my dad. The eTrex Vista C was incredible. It has a great feature just for geocaching that helps you quickly go from cache to cache. And being able to pre-load the GPS with the caches saved a ton of time. I had to keep waiting for my dad to manually enter the locations using his "antique". Along the way we saw some deer (the mostly brown image) and watched a beaver working on his lodge (the darker images) just before sundown.
